Brow Shaping

Brow Shaping is the perfect service for those who would like to clean up and define their natural eyebrows. In this service, unwanted hair is pulled out using wax to shape the brow. The results can last anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. Clients with any skin type is suitable for this service.

Who is not a candidate?

If any of the following contraindications are applicable to you, you are not eligible for brow shaping.

• Sensitive skin

• Sunburnt/inflamed skin

• Eczema/psoriasis around focused area

• Recently received a chemical peel/microdermabrasion

• Retinol/vitamin A must stop use at least 2 weeks before appointment

• Laser treatments around focused area

• Eye infections/folliculitis

• Recent reconstructive surgery/injectables around focused area

• No alcohol day of/night before, can lead to bruising

• Recent microblading/cosmetic tattoo around focused area

Please make sure to follow Precare instructions to ensure the best results.

• Must be at least 4-6 weeks since previous brow shape/wax.

• Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products such as retinol at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

• Avoid use of sunless tanning products and sunbeds.

• If you have received Botox, please book a minimum of 1 week post injections to avoid any bruising.

• Have inspiration pictures ready if you have an idea of the brow look you’d like to achieve.

Aftercare

For the best and long lasting results it is important to follow Aftercare instructions.

• Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products such as retinol 1 week post appointment.

• Avoid excessive touching or rubbing the brows.

• Avoid saunas, swimming, sunbeds, and sunless tanning products.
